MediaTek P70 processor with 12nm technology, Specifications & features
MediaTek has announced a new processor called Mediatek P70. This Soc is based on 12nm technology.
All you know about the MediaTek P60 processor. Recently mtk has announced a new processor called Mediatek P70. This is an upgraded version of the P60 processor. This Soc is based on 12NM technology. This chipset will give a tough competition to Qualcomm Snapdragon 710. Let’s know about this processor specification and features.
It has an octa-core processor which has 4 high power cores and 4 low power cores. These high power cores are based on ARM cortex a73 architecture clock speed up to 2.1 GHz and low power cores are based on ARM cortex a53 architecture clock speed up to 2.0 GHz.
If I talk about the GPU and APU then it has Mali ARM G-72 GPU whose clock speed is 900 GHz, which is 13 percent better then MediaTek P60 Helio. The P70 Soc has multicore APU that’s clock speed up to 525 Mhz, which is better for AI processing.
The main USP of mtk p70 Soc is its AI technology. Whether it’s in the case of performance or in the case of power management. Helio P70 is based on the neuro pilot programme which supports AI framework like Cafe, Cafe2, TF, TF lite. Also, a new AI video calling feature has been provided in P70 soc, which will increase the quality of video calling on low bandwidth.
Helio P70 supports a single camera up to 32 megapixels and it supports dual cameras up to 24 plus 16 megapixels. In the camera department, it supports Ai features such as Real-time beautification, AI face detection, scene detection.
If I talk about memory then it supports up to 8GB (LPDDR4X)Ram and it supports UFS 2.1 type storage.
According to the company, the P70 is 10 to 30 percent Ai processing faster than P60. Apart from this, the p70 has 4G LTE modem it supports up to 300mbps of download speed and up to 150 Mbps upload speed. It also supports dual 4G Volte.
